Created using multiple types of transparent and opaque striking borosilicate glass this acorn sculpture features a hand-blown, hollow acorn suspended on a branch with transparent articulated oak leaves.  The vivid autumnal colors are created by intentionally changing the heat and oxygen levels of the flame as the sculpture is created.
